Account director / Board director

We have an opportunity for an established professional with at least ten years of relevant experience in corporate live events to join our small board of executive directors and become an integral member of the team with share options in the future.

Established for over 50 years, JB Communications is a communications specialist working in FMCG, developing business solutions for the largest global manufacturers. The company is now looking to broaden its existing blue-chip client base and develop a range of new services to deliver to the corporate communications market.

The role primarily takes responsibility for the delivery of the company’s projects (mostly but not exclusively, events, conferences, launches, interactive experiences and collaboration centres). With tender creation, practical project implementation, production, and account management forming part of the opportunity. You will have a small team to manage, mentor and further develop.

You will have a good network of industry contacts and clients. We would love you to be able to bring some business with you. You will be experienced in the hands-on operation of a production team and the delivery of a broad range of projects, particularly experiential builds and live and virtual events. You will have demonstrable commercial experience in the sector and in-depth working knowledge of technology, skills, and best practices involved in the production and delivery of corporate communication in all forms. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate strong leadership and successfully applied strategic thinking.
